Removing the fender liner 

• 7 ea. 8mm nuts around the inside of the fender lip; these hold on the outer trim piece as well.  Picture
  • remove all the nuts
  • remove the outer trim piece.

Note that the following screws may have been replaced with different types (Phillips head, etc).  The plastic anchors tend to strip out with use, so replacement with larger diameter screws is not uncommon.

• Six 8mm screws in the wheel well.  Picture 
  • One at the top center, near the spring/strut assembly
  • one at the center, looking directly into the wheel well, behind brake line
  • one at the front corner, about 6" from the bottom (this one could use a 1/4" ratchet, or an 8mm open end wrench, as it's difficult to get to with a driver handle)

• Three underneath
  • the front one at the corner may be 10mm, not 8mm
  • the other two are progressively farther back from the front corner of the wheel well

   

• Remove the front inner fender liner.
  • Disengage it from the fender lip at the top center and it will fall out
