No records?  Most people say you should bail at that point. I disagree. You know a good, tight, attractive car from a rag. You can never know everything, even with records. And you can never know the future, one way or the other. Does the car look and feel right overall? Is the price right? Do you have a few bucks to do some work (you've seen the potential problem areas)? It's your call. The best advice is: Wait for a nice one. If the one you're looking at seems nice, then go for it. Any significant doubts? Walk away and look some more. Automatic transmission? Well, it's your call. All I can say is, you've been warned.
