The stuff I use is by Macklanburg-Duncan (MD label); it's light gray, very squishy, yet very resilient. It comes in various thicknesses and widths. It's generally available at hardware stores, mega marts and mega home stores. This is closed cell foam, not the cheap open cell stuff. Unlike most closed cell foams, this stuff is very compressible but it retains a nice density.
